How to Reach Vista Retreat Tinchulay
To reach Vista Retreat Tinchulay, the nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP).
- By Air:
The nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport (IXB), which is well-connected to major cities in India. From Bagdogra, you can hire a taxi to reach Tinchlay. - By Train:
From NJP, you can:
Option 1: Take a shared taxi from PaniTanki that goes towards Tinchulay. However, please note that shared taxis are limited, and seats may or may not be available.
Option 2 (Recommended): Hire a private taxi, which we can help arrange directly from NJP to Vista Retreat Tinchulay for your convenience.
- Roadway from Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway station (NJP)
If you’re driving your own vehicle from Siliguri, follow this route:
Drive via Sevoke Road → 27th Mile → 29th Mile → reach Teesta Bazar.
From Teesta Bazar, take the uphill road towards Baramangwa, then pass through Takling, Soreng, Kolbung, and finally reach Tinchulay.
There are two alternative routes:
- From 27th Mile, take the road uphill through Teesta Valley, Gielle Tea Garden, Rangli, Takdah, and then reach Tinchulay.
- From Teesta Bazar, continue to Lopchu, take a left turn at Lopchu, and head straight to Tinchulay.
The total drive from Siliguri takes approximately 3 hours 30 minutes, depending on road conditions.Don’t hesitate to ask the local people about the route mentioned above.

4.Once you reach the property, you will need to hire a taxi for sightseeing, which we can provide.
5.It is advisable to check the current road conditions before planning your trip, especially during the monsoon season when landslides can disrupt travel.
