Vista Retreat Tinchulay – Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Payment

• A confirmed booking requires a minimum advance payment of 50% of the total amount.
• The balance must be paid before check out.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, UPI, or cash.

2. Check-in / Check-out

• Check-in time: 11:30 AM
• Check-out time: 10:30 PM
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in.
• 50% refund if cancelled between 3-6 days before check-in.
• No refund for cancellations made less than 3 days before check-in or for no-shows.

4. Guest Identification

• Valid government-issued ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID) is required for all guests at the time of check-in.

5. House Rules

• Guests are not allowed to enter the rooms of other groups or anyone who is not part of their own group.
• Guests are expected to maintain cleanliness and respect the property.
• Loud music and parties are not permitted to preserve the peace of the area.
• Outside visitors are not allowed in guest rooms without prior permission.

6. Meals

• Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food will be provided.
• Food is home-cooked and served at designated times. Special dietary requests must be informed in advance.
• If guests wish to have a late-night dinner, the food will be placed in a hot pot and kept in their room so they can eat at their convenience.

7. Children & Extra Guests

• Children below 5 years stay free of charge (without extra bed).
• Children aged 6 to 15 are required to pay 50% of the charges
• Parents/guardians are responsible for supervising their children at all times to ensure their safety and to avoid any disturbance or damage.
• Bringing outsiders or unregistered guests into the rooms is strictly prohibited for security and privacy reasons.
• Extra guests must be declared at the time of booking. If not declared in advance, the management will not be responsible for providing accommodation. However, if a room is available, it may be provided at an additional charge.

8. Pets

Pets are not allowed, keeping in mind the safety and convenience of other guests

9. Liability

• The homestay is not liable for any loss or damage of personal belongings. Guests are advised to keep valuables secure.
• Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or items during their stay.
• In case of major injury, accident, illness or death the management will provide first aid and assist in taking the guest to the hospital, but will not be held liable for it.
• The homestay shall not be held responsible for delays or cancellations caused by natural calamities, roadblocks, political unrest, or transportation issues.
• Guests are expected to behave responsibly. Any misconduct, illegal activity, or disrespectful behavior toward staff or other guests may lead to immediate eviction without refund.
• Vista Retreat Tinchulay reserves the right to deny entry or cancel a booking if any terms and conditions are violated.
• For group bookings (more than 4 guests), prior confirmation is mandatory. The group leader will be responsible for the behavior and conduct of the group.

10. Nature & Local Customs

• Vista Retreat is located in an eco-sensitive area; guests are encouraged to respect nature and local culture.
• Water and electricity are limited resources—please use them responsibly.
• Please help us keep the property clean by using the dustbins provided. We strive to maintain cleanliness in both the retreat and the village
